We are thrilled to announce that this year, the West Virginia Breast Health Initiative (WVBHI) will once again host the Annual May 7, 2022 Race for the Ribbon at the State Capital Complex. The Theme for this year is “Back to the Boulevard.” As we all know, the last couple of years have been challenging as the COVID-19 pandemic swept through our communities. It has especially been hard on our West Virginians who have not been able to get screened for breast cancer. Typically, WVBHI uses the Annual Race for the Ribbon to fundraise for mammograms and other detection services. However, due to the last couple of years with COVID-19, the Race was cancelled. Now, with Back to the Boulevard, we are asking for community support to be “back” to help those West Virginians in need of mammograms and other detection services which will save lives from early detection.

 

The Race for the Ribbon is a great opportunity for you to promote your business while supporting a great organization, through sponsorship of this very successful event. Depending on your sponsorship level, your business will have the opportunity to advertise on T-shirts distributed to participants; be named on various promotional materials; place promotional items in participants swag bags; and to be present the day of the event with signage and promotional opportunities with a tent specifically designated for you. Whether you are a small business just getting started or a larger corporation, a sponsorship of Race for the Ribbon will ensure that you will be a part of saving lives and making a lasting impact for future generations.
