Kicking off our Rock-it for the Ribbon Challenge with an
Open House on Saturday, September 25 from 11am-2pm at
Bream Church located at 317 W. Washington Street.
Rock-it for the Ribbon Challenge tees will be available for $25.
Thanks to our participants in the 2020 Rock-it for the Ribbon Challenge, WVBHI was able to provide funding for over 60 mammograms, Uber rides, gas cards as well as help Survivors with other expenses. Help us make this year bigger and better!
The Challenge - YOU can get your Rock-it for the Ribbon Challenge t-shirt starting September 25 and throughout the month of October while they last. Then, during the entire month of October, you “rock” your t-shirt by taking pictures or short videos of you wearing your t-shirt and then share on social media using the hashtags #rockitfortheribbon and #yourdayyourway. You can walk, sashey, dance, picnic, wine, dine, rock - solo or with friends and family.

The Challenge II – Our newest addition to the Challenge, if you choose to accept it - is to help raise vital breast cancer screening funds, through our BCAM Pick a Day Calendar. It’s so easy! Just download a calendar (HERE) or pick one up at our office. Then, ask your friends, co-workers, family and classmates to pick a day/s and pay that amount. $3 for the 3rd, $11 for the 11th, etc. Once that day is taken, you mark it off with the donors name until you fill up your Breast Cancer Awareness Month calendar. Once you collect the donations and turn into the WVBHI office, your calendar will go into a drawing for a $500. Gift certificate to Johnnie’s Fresh Meat Market.
